Firstly, to get it out of the way, the purpose of this blog is not to share my own brilliant recipes, as most of these recipes are not my creation.  I have a collection of my favorite sources and blogs, plus there is always the odd Pinterest discovery whose credit I have lost.  The purpose of this blog is for me to have a visually pleasing way to access my personal cookbook with lots of handy cross tagging, and hey, if you find something you find delicious, that’s cool too.

Now that I’ve got that out of the way….

I am, by no means, a chef.  I’m hardly a good cook.  I’m not feeding a family of hungry mouths and I am not so innovative that I invent recipes (although I often alter them).  The point of this blog is to publish and share all the recipes I have found and love, so that they are easily accessible anywhere, and so I can share them with my friends and family.  I will give credit for the recipes wherever I can.  Some, on the other hand, may be old family recipes….

That said, I am a twenty-something young woman living in the (second?) largest city in New Hampshire, which is a state and feeding one adult male and a cat who doesn’t seem to understand that I am not cooking for him.  I love spices – cinnamon and cayenne are my favorites –  and I definitely bought a stockpile of candy canes to last me until next December.

Also, I am one of the horrific people still left in this world who cooks based on “ooo, that sounds tasty!” and not on calorie counts.  I think you will find that my diet is horrible, but delicious.
