Universally, there seems to be three basic kinds of fruit dip – chocolate fondue, vanilla-sugar dip like my Fantastic Fruit Dip, and Caramel Sauce.  This is nothing like any of them.  This dip is simple and can be whipped up in a matter of minutes.

I toned the orange down a lot from the recipe I got, and I was happy with the results.  This tastes a little different depending on what you serve with it; I served it with grapes, apple slices, banana slices, orange slices, and strawberries.  For me, I loved it with the bananas, and my mom did too!  But I also though it was pretty good with the apples and grapes.  It all depends on what you like.

It definitely tastes like ice cream.  If you’re having trouble getting your kids to eat fruit, try enticing them with this!
