Soft Chocolate Cookies

You’ll Need:

1 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
powdered sugar (for dusting)

How To:

Preheat oven to 350F.

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle.

Roll into 1” balls. Place 2” apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork if desired. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove to wire racks.

Dust warm cookies with powdered sugar.
