Wild Rice Stuffed Steak

You’ll Need:

3 oz. fast-cooking long grain wild rice mix
1/8 c. green onions, chopped
3 New York Strip steaks
1/4 c. teriyaki sauce

How To:

Preheat the broiler.

Cook rice according to package directions in the microwave.  Let cool.  Stir in green onions.

Cut a pocket in the steak that goes until about 1/2″ from the bottom.  Lay on a baking sheet and stuff with the rice mixture and secure with a toothpick.  brush with teriyaki sauce.

Broil 4-6 minutes.  Turn steaks and brush again with teriyaki.  Broil another 608 minutes, or until your steak reaches desired doneness, basting frequently so the meat does not dry out.

Discard the toothpicks before serving.
