Teriyaki Pork Roast

You’ll Need:

3lb. boneless pork shoulder roast
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. teriyaki sauce
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. cold water

How To:

Cut roast in half and rub with brown sugar.  Place in a slow cooker and pour teryaki sauce and soy sauce over the roast.  Cover and cook on low for 6 1/2 hours, or until tender.

Remove roast.  Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.  Meanwhile, stain cooking juices and return to the slow cooker.  Combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth.  Stir into the juices.  Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes or until thickened.

Slice pork and serve with gravy.
