Chocolate Cream Paradise Pie

You’ll Need:

1 graham cracker pie crust
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Cool Whip

How To:

In a large mixing bowl, cream egg yolks and sugar.  Mix in cornstarch, cocoa powder, and salt.  Add milk and stir gently.

Pour mixture into a large sauce pan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until boiling.  remove from heat.  Stir in butter and vanilla.  Cool slightly, then pour into the pie crust.  Chill for 2 hours.  Top with Cool Whip and serve cold.
