Ham, Swiss, and Apple Quesadillas

You’ll Need:

1 tbsp. apple preserves, jam or jelly
8″ tortilla
1/4 c. shredded swiss cheese
1 oz. thinly sliced deli ham
3 tbsp. grated apple (Granny Smith suggested)

How To:

Heat a grill or frying pan to medium heat.  Spread the apple preserves over half the tortilla.  Scatter the cheese on the other half.  lay the ham across the cheese and sprinkle the grated apple on top.  Fold the tortilla in half.

Grill on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until cheese is melted and it is starting to brown.  Beware cooking for too long, because the apple jelly will melt and it will make a sticky mess!

Slice into wedges and serve.
