Teriyaki Tips

You’ll Need:

3/4 c. cold water
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
1 lb. beef tips, cut into 2” pieces

How To:

In a saucepan, mix first six ingredients and cook over medium heat. Whisk continually. Be careful not to let the sauce boil and spill over!

Once the sauce is thickened to your liking, remove the saucepan from heat and set aside to cool.

Place the tips into a large bowl and pour cooled sauce over the meat. Mix until evenly distributed.

Marinate for a minimum of an hour (overnight preferred).

On the grill or a large pan over medium heat, cook the meat to your desired level of thoroughness.  Cook approximately 2 minutes on each side on the grill (preferred) or 5-6 minutes per side on the stove.

Serve hot with you favorite sides (mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, etc.!)
