Sicilian Linguine

You’ll Need:

1/4 c. olive oil
3 garlic cloves, chopped
pinch crushed red pepper flakes
pinch salt
1 tbsp. parsley
1 lb. linguine
1/2 c. bread crumbs, toasted
1/2 plum tomato, diced


How To:

Bring a large pot on salted water to boil.

In a small saute pan, heat the olive oil on low and cook the garlic until brown. Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and parsley. Stir to combine.

Drop the linguine into the boiling water. After 2-3 minutes, take about 2 tablespoons of the pasta water and add it to the garlic mixture. When the linguine is done (7 minutes for al dente) toss it with the garlic and toasted bread crumbs. Add tomatoes on top and serve.
