Mom's Meatloaf

You’ll Need:

2 slices stale bread
1/4 c. milk
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
pepper

How To:

Preheat the oven to 375F.

Break the bread into pieces into a large bowl. Drizzle the milk over the bread to moisten it a bit. If mixture becomes too soggy, add more bread.

Add all the rest of the ingredients and mix well with your hands. Shape the meat into a round or oval shape.  Place on a rimmed baking sheet.  Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Let the meatloaf rest at least 5 minutes before slicing.
