Cheesy Macaroni and Cheese

You’ll Need:

8 oz. macaroni pasta
1/4 c. + 1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. milk
1/8 c. white wine (or chicken broth)
1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
1/4 c. panko crumbs
1/2 tbsp. parsley

How To:

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8” round casserole dish.

Cook pasta 2-3 minutes less than called for. Drain, set aside.

In a saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter mixed with salt and pepper.  Once butter has melted, add flour; stir until smooth. Let cook for 1 minute. Add milk and wine, bring to a boil, whisking. Add cheese and stir until melted. Pour over cooked pasta and add to greased dish.

Combine panko, parsley, and remaining 1 tablespoon of butter (melted) in a small bowl. Sprinkle macaroni with mixture and bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
