Cheddar Bacon Macaroni and Cheese

You’ll Need:

1 3/4 c. elbow macaroni
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
4 c. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 jar real bacon bits

How To:

Heat oven to 350F.

Cook macaroni as directed on package. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour and cook 2 minutes or until bubbly. Gradually stir in milk; cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer on low heat 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened.  Add 3 cups cheese; cook and stir 5 minutes or until melted.

Drain macaroni. Add to sauce with bacon pieces, mix lightly. Spoon into casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.

Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
