Serbian POrk Roast

You’ll Need:

1 1/2 lb. pork shoulder
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 heads garlic, peeled
1 1/2 c. red wine
3/4 c. water
3 bay leaves
1 tbsp. dried thyme
1/4 c. parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. butter

How To:

Combine pork, vegetable oil, garlic, red wine, water, bay leaves, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker and cook for 7 hours on LOW, turning occasionally to assure meat is cooked through.

After 7 hours, remove the pork and drain broth through strainer to remove large pieces, into a pan. Add flour and butter. Cook on medium heat and let thicken, stirring occasionally. Serve with pork.
