Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cookiesq

You’ll Need:

1/3 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. plain yogurt
2/3 c. cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
additional sugar for coating
36 Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses

How To:

Preheat oven to 350F.  Grease two baking sheets.

Beat the butter and sugars until creamt.  Add the yogurt and egg and beat again.  Sift together cocoa powder, baking soda, and flour.  Slowly beat into the butter mixture.

Roll into 36 balls and roll in the sugar.  The dough will be very sticky.  Place on to baking sheet.

Bake for 8 minutes.  Cool on baking sheet for 1-2 minutes.  Remove to a sheet of wax paper (not a cooling rack) on the counter.  Press a kiss atop each cookie.  Do not move the cookies until they are completely cooled and the kisses are set.

Store in a sealed container.
