Lightly Fried Pork Chops

You’ll Need:

1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. onion powder
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 1/4 c. flour
4 pork chops
vegetable oil

How To:

Combine the spices for seasoning mix. Sprinkle pork chops with about 2 tablespoons of the seasoning mix, patting it with your hands. Thoroughly combine the remaining mix with flour in a bowl and set aside.

Heat about 1/4-inch of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot, about 2 minutes.  Dredge each pork chop in seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Fry in oil until dark golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain chops on paper towels.

Serve with sauce or gravy.
