Beenie Weenie Cornbread Casserole

You’ll Need:

6 hot dogs
2 (1 lb.) cans baked beans
1/4 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire suace
3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. cornmeal
1 egg, slightly beaten
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. oil

How To:

Preheat oven to 400F.

Cut hot dogs into 1/4” pieces.  Put in a 9×13” baking dish with beans, ketchup, water, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.  Stir in cornmeal. Add egg, milk, and oil. Stir just enough to combine.

Spread new mixture evenly over the top of the 9″ x 13” pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until mixture has browned.
