Tomatoless Gumbo in a Jiffy

You’ll Need:

1 tsp. Creole seasoning
1 tbsp. minced onion
14.5 oz. chicken broth
5 Italian sausage links
1/2 c. water
1 can whole kernel corn
1 c. uncooked instant rice

How To:

In a large saucepan, cook sausage until no longer pink; drain.  Stir in seasoning, onion, broth, and water and bring to a boil.

Stir in corn and rice; cover and remove from the heat.  Let stand for 5 minutes.

Makes: 6 bowls
