Stuffed French Toast

You’ll Need:

2 slices of bread
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 oz. cream cheese
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
3 large strawberries
whipped cream (optional)

How To:

In a shallow bowl, mix egg, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.  Dip bread in egg mixture, making sure both sides are soaked, and set aside on a piece of wax paper or tinfoil.  Discard additional egg mixture.

Place sandwich in a non-stick skillet and cook until bottom is lightly browned.  Flip and brown other side.  Remove to a plate.

On one slice of bread, spread cream cheese.  Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cream cheese, then layer sliced strawberries on top.  Place other slice of cooked french toast on top.

Cut diagonally and top with whipped cream and extra strawberry slices.
