Hearty Brunch Pockets

You’ll Need:

4 precooked breakfast sausage links
2 tbsp. Real Bacon Bits
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. shredded Colby Jack Cheese
1 pita bread (6-inches), cut in half

How To:

In the microwave, heat sausage for 1 1/2 minutes.  Remove, slice thinly, and keep warm.

In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.  Pour into the skillet.  Cook and stir over medium heat until eggs are almost set.  Add sausage and bacon; mix until eggs are cook through.  Add cheese and mix until cheese is melted – be careful not to burn!

Scoop into pita halves and serve hot.
