Grilled Teriyaki Steak Skewers

You’ll Need:

1/3 c. teriyaki sauce
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. flank steak, cut into 1/4″ thick strips
4 scallions, sliced diagonally
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
wooden skewers

How To:

Combine teriyaki sauce, garlic, and pepper in a large ziplock bag.  Add steak – seal and turn several times to coat with marinade.  Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature.

To Bake:  Preheat oven to 325F.  Soak skewers in water, then slide through steak strips.  Place skewers on a foil-line baking sheet and place in oven.  Cook 12 minutes, turn, and cook 12 minutes more or to desired doneness.

To Grill:  Preheat grill to high.  Thread mean onto soaked wooden skewers; oil grates.  Grill steak, turning once, until cooked to desired doneness (1-2 minutes per side for medium-rare).

Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds, and serve.
