Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal

You’ll Need:

1/2 c. old fashioned oats
1/2 c. + 1 tsp. milk
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. molasses
salt
1/2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. chopped pecans
1 tbsp. cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp. powdered sugar

How To:  Icing

In a small bowl, using a fork, whisk together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon milk until well blended.  Set aside.

How To:  Oatmeal

In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine oats, 1/2 cup milk, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, molasses, and salt.  Cook in the microwave for 3 1/2 minutes.  Remove from microwave and stir in butter.  Allow to cook for several minutes.

Drizzle or pipe icing over the oatmeal.  Add pecans.  Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.
