Slow Cooker Jambalaya

You’ll Need:

1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 lb. smoked turkey sausage
1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes with juice
3 tbsp. dried minced onion flakes
1 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. dried parsley
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
white rice

How To:

Cut chicken into 1” cubes and slice sausage.

In a slow cooker, mix the chicken, sausage, tomatoes, onion, garlic, and broth. Season with oregano, parsley, Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, and thyme.

Cover and cook 7-8 hours on LOW (or 3-4 hours on HIGH).

Cook rice according to package directions. Mix into slow cooker and cook soup for an additional 15 minutes to warm through.
