Yellow Layer Cake

You’ll Need:

3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs

How To:

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

Fix flour and baking powder in one bowl. Mix in milk and vanilla in a second bowl. Beat butter in a third bowl until light. As sugar and beat until fluffy.

Beat eggs into butter mixture, one at a time. Mix all ingredients together, beating until fully combined.

Separate batter into two pans and bake for 35 minutes.

Let cool for 15 minutes in pans, then remove to cooling racks. Top with any frosting.
